Description
Interested in seeing how acreage used for agricultural purposes and sharing the Gospel through radio is impacting the community around it? The TWR Africa transmitter site team is seeking an agricultural intern that could help on the farming side in developing or improving our hay production or looking at other uses for parts of our land. Someone that could do soil samples, suggest fertilizer and spraying regiments and work with the maintenance team to teach them how to achieve this. Come and help the team with their existing property and community development plan/stewardship program. You'll be working with the local community, assisting in the planting of trees and crops, distributing crops to the needy, long-term planning and, where possible, building on existing programs and initiatives. Note: This is a general job description and is subject to change depending on skill sets and/or project/department needs.
For more information about our internship program, visit our internships page or visit our Embark page for short-term opportunities! All TWR interns develop a team of partners from churches, friends, and family who support you in prayer and provide financially for your stipend and expenses. We do provide training, resources, and coaching to assist you in this process!
